With respect to the publication on 10 November of Sappi"s announcement of       
results for the quarter and year ended September 2005, Sappi regrets to advise  
that there is a transposition error in the Summary table.                       
The Sales figure provided for the year ended September 2005 was incorrectly     
stated to be US$ 5, 108 million. The true figure is US $ 5, 018 million.        
The correct version of the table is reproduced below:
