Amendments to the JSE Debt Listings Requirements: Sustainability Segment

The JSE intends to amend the Debt Listings Requirements to expand the current Green Segment to a
Sustainability Segment, which will include sustainability instruments under the Green Bond Principles,
Social Bond Principles and Sustainability Guidelines.

The marked-up amendments along with an explanatory memorandum will be available on the JSE’s
website (Route: Companies & Issuer Regulation/Issuer Regulation – Announcements regarding
Listings Requirements).

We invite comments on the amendments to the Debt Listings Requirements by close of business,
Wednesday, 18 March 2020, and comments can be sent directly to alwynf@jse.co.za.
