Change to the board of directors, change to audit and risk committee
and appointment of lead independent director



In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the
JSE Limited, shareholders are advised of the appointment of Willem
Johannes Raubenheimer to serve as an independent non-executive
director on the AEEI Board of Directors.

Willem has also been appointed as the Chairperson of the AEEI Audit
and Risk Committee as well as the lead independent director of the
Company.

All of the above appointments are effective from 9 July 2020.

Willem is a qualified chartered accountant who brings a wealth of
accounting expertise to AEEI having previously been a partner at Mazars
Chartered Accountants as well as being financial director of several
companies in the United Kingdom. He is currently the CEO of Hertz
Rent A Car, Southern Africa.

The board congratulates Willem on his appointment and wishes him well
in his new appointment.
