Executive Management

The Land Bank wishes to announce the appointment of Mr Ayanda Kanana as the Chief Executive
Officer of the Land Bank, effective 01 March 2020.

This follows the recent appointment of Ms Khensani Mukhari as the Chief Financial Officer effective 3rd
February. Mr Kanana is a qualified Chartered Accountant, with in-depth knowledge of the Agriculture
Sector and is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Johannesburg Fresh Produce Market. He has
served on various Board structures and he is currently the Chairperson of the Audit and Risk Committee
for the East London Industrial Development Zone. Ayanda has also won multiple industry awards with
the most recent one being Public Sector CEO of the Year 2019 by the Association for the Advancement
of Black Accountants of Southern Africa (ABASA). Ayanda is passionate about Agriculture, in particular
the development of emerging farmers.

The Board wishes to extend a warm welcome to the new CEO of the Land Bank and expresses gratitude
to the Executive Committee for holding the fort and ensuring business continuity.
