Ivory Coast Jan-Aug coffee exports down 42 percent

ABIDJAN (Reuters) - Ivory Coast exported 30,423 tonnes of coffee beans in the first eight months of 2017, down 42 percent from the same period last year, provisional port data showed on Thursday.

Following is port data for coffee bean exports in tonnes:

Jan-Aug 2017 Jan-July 2017 Jan-Aug 2016

Abidjan 3,759 4,463 5,664

San Pedro 836 2,141 1,802

Total 4,595 6,604 7,466

Cumulative 30,423 25,828 52,484
