Digicore interim results December 2011










Revenue for the interim period ended 31 December 2011 increased to R400.5 million (2010: R322.4 million). Operating profit for the period was lower at R38 million (2010: R40.3 million). Profit attributable to equity holders of the parent grew to R23.8 million (2010: R22.8 million). Headline earnings per share decreased marginally to 10cps (2010: 10.5cps).

Dividend
In line with company policy, the board has declared an interim dividend of 3cps for the six months ended 31 December 2011.

Outlook
The European economic crisis remains a concern, but we are cautiously optimistic that the group will show improved revenue and earnings growth for the full year to 30 June 2012.
