Enter your name, email address and cell-phone number. Then select all the area codes you wish to receive load-shedding alerts for (home & work or home & holiday house for example.) Whenever the municipality activates load-shedding you will be immediately notified via email with only the days and times of the remainder of the week that this will affect the areas you selected. When load-shedding is suspended you will also receive another email notification. This saves you having to go to a website or rely on the news to inform you that the load shedding status has changed and also spares you from poring through complicated multi-region schedules and tables to try and figure out when you will be affected. You may also elect to receive a daily early-morning reminder of times of the current day you are going to be affected by load shedding and/or a 15min warning just before your selected areas are about to commence load shedding. All alerts are via email, but we are collecting your cellphone number for future push-alerts and/or SMS.
