MMI Holdings Limited (MMI) is a South African based financial services group listed on the South African stock exchange, the JSE.

MMI was formed on 1 December 2010 from the merger of Metropolitan Holdings and the Momentum Group, both sizable insurance-based financial services players in South Africa. The merged group now has a market capitalisation of R48 billion and an embedded value of some R40 billion (as at June 2015).

Our client-centric strategy relies on four segment businesses that understand and fulfil the needs of specific client target markets. The segment businesses are Metropolitan Retail, Momentum Retail, International, and Corporate and Public Sector and they deliver solutions that meet clients' financial wellness needs through appropriate products, distribution and service delivery channels.

Our Client Engagement Solutions division combines new technologies, business ecosystems and its deep understanding of human behaviour to help clients become more financially well. It uses compelling rewards to drive client behaviour that improves financial wellness and increases the value of existing clients. The division also tracks the financial wellness of the country through its annual Financial Wellness Index.

Our Products and Solutions businesses develop appropriate value propositions for our clients: Investments and Savings Solutions, Life Insurance Solutions, Health Solutions, Legacy Solutions, Short-term Insurance Solutions and Research Solutions.

We operate in 17 countries across the globe: 13 in Africa, Hong Kong, United Kingdom, Indonesia and India through a direct presence, strategic partnerships and joint ventures.
