PURCHASE OF SHARES BY SUBSIDIARY COMPANY

In compliance with the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, RFG announces that its major subsidiary has,
in accordance with the rules of The Rhodes Food Group 2015 Share Plan (the Plan), purchased RFG
ordinary shares in the open market in order to fulfill the settlement of vested performance shares and
